I want a TRICKED OUT, burger! : ) (one might ask, why I didn't just stop at a Mc Donnalds, well this is because I only eat free range meat.) And today I finaly got one. We (my mom, dad, brother, and I) went to Chester Creek Cafe, (where they have free range maet,) and had us some BUrGERS! (my brother had a veggie burger, since he is a vegetarian.)
After that me and my mom went out and bought my dress for the Oscar party I will soon be atending. (and hopefully posting about.)
And for desert, we went to Va Bene and had gelato.
This year is off to agood start.

Weekly Movie Review: Napoleon Dynamite

jon_heder.jpg
There are some movies that you just know will win oscars. Movies that everyone will stand in line for hours and hours to buy tickets for. Movies that will get rave reviews, and everyone will talk about for weeks after it comes out.
This is not one of those movies. But you must see it.
One of the things I love about this movie is that, it's nothing really special. No briliant scores or award wining prefomaces, and yet, it's so iconic.
for a while, it was so bad, that you couldn't go five feet without seeing a, vote for pedro t-shirt, or hearing some one say, "gimmie some 'a yer 'tots," or "flipin sweet!"
But whats so speial about a film about a very un-special dorky high school boy. To whom nothing very special ever happens?
Well I don't really know, but it might be because we can all relate to it.
We've all at one piont in our lives been like one of the characters. Quiet, shy, Deb. Dorky, but trying to be cool, Napoleon. Jerky, uncle Rico, who lives in the past. We've all been there. (either that or it's just funny!)

I'm in a play!!!

83_pinocchio.jpg Me and my brother each tried out for the play, Pinocchio.

This was my brothers third audition, (he hadn't tried out since he was 6, in Treasure Island P-[ and Alice in Wonderland) but guess what, they considered him for Pinocchio!!! :O I know!!! Yes he didn't get the part. :_( But I did!
I play one of the traditional Italian characters, Harlequin, and Columbine who preform a (sort of) Harlequinade, and learn to dance without strings!
